I'm with you on the clothes issue. I bring things that can be dressed up or down. Period. Works well for me and I adhere to the dress code.
I believe one of the casual nights on VOF, last year, changed to informal. That came as a surprise. If need be, and I have to repeat an outfit, dry cleaning is fast and reasonable.
