I just received Levent's response: he is charging $60 pp, excluding entrance fees and lunch, for a 6 hour tour for 4 people. He is including a bit more than we would like. I do not want to burn out before Istanbul--where we are planning three, long, packed days--so I'd rather do a four hour tour with more shopping time! I hope he will be agreeable!
His prices seem reasonable but I am most touched by the story of the cats. I hope I remember to bring a few snacks for the cats as well!
