There's also the national dish, poisson cru, which is raw tuna marinated in coconut milk and lime, tossed with onions, etc. It's served on the motu for lunch, and at least one other lunch on the ship, at least in the Grill.

There's also a Japanese restaurant, as I remember, at the Meridien in Papeete, I think.

With the great fresh tuna they have, and other seafood, I would think that whatever sushi they have would be of high quality.
