Marc the big difference between Denver and DC is that Denver expects large snows and has the equipment to handle it, whereas DC certainly has not expected the 28" they got, with another 10+ on the way today. The weather channel is saying it's a once in a lifetime winter there. They were still digging out from the wknd storm. MD had used up their snow budget BEFORE this past wknd's storm.
