Umm, it's snowing at my office here in Montgomery County right now. Maybe you're in a different part of the county as me confused ;)

I really don't think the decision to cancel for the rest of the week has anything to do with the snow that may be here tonight. I think they realize that the task to clear out all the neighborhoods and schools is just not realistic and it's best to just let the parents know now so they can plan for the rest of the week instead of just stringing them along for what's inevitable.

The forecast is still for 12-18 inches of snow with a possible mix of sleet and freezing rain. The worst part is that the winds are expected to whip up to 45mph. They are still trying to get power back to about 10,000 homes in the area. This won't make it any easier.
