Hello, Just booked my very first cruise. Some one pinch me, thought I would never convince my husband to go on one, he always said I can go when he is gone!! Hasn't told me when he is leaving. Anyway I am booked into 705, any thoughts on that from someone out there? Thanks Jeanine :cool: :cool: :cool:

The PG was our first cruise two years ago and it turned out to be more than we had ever hoped for. Make sure you get involved with all the events, join other couples for dinner, if the band Siglo is still there they are "Fabulous", do remember your sunscreen and be prepared to party. This cruise sold us on Radisson and this past April we did a two week cruise on the Voyager through the Panana Canal. Already have something booked for 2005 on the Navigator. You made the right choice!!

You will love the PG. We had done several cruises - Cunard, RCCL and Princess but were not convinced that cruising was for us - we both absolutely loved the PG. We are scheduled on the Diamond in October. Have a great trip - I an ready to go on the PG again in a heartbeat.

You have a good cabin too. My favorites are those 707, 705 and 703. Cabins above and below you so they are quieter and they are not too far forward as there is still quite a bit of ship in front of you. High rent district too - big suites around you in this area. You will love the trip congratulations on getting your husband to go along. Now watch he will fall in love with cruising and this will be just the beginning.

Jeanine, if this is your first cruise, believe me, you are getting a great cabin! It has a sleeping area, and sitting area, and a wonderful balcony if that is the norm for deck 7 as I know it. You will love the PG, and I hope you will report back when you return! When are you going?

My Husband is just commenting(critiquing?)about the fact we might have mosquitoes on Huahine!!Know that is a problem we won't have on PG. Am I making a mistake staying on land? Or should we look into BTB. though that seems like alot ot time on board for 2first time cruisers Jeanine

I prefer back to back because you have top notch accommodations, top notch service, don't have to pack and unpack, and it is all inclusive. You don't have to worry about where to eat, cost of food, transportation, etc. It is pure pampering whether for one or two weeks.

I agree with Susan. We did a back-to-back in Feb. 2003. Also, if the weather isn't perfect the first week at one of the islands, you have another chance the second week. You can also spread out the excursions. We also researched black pearls the first week and bought the second week.
