WOW...am I ever impressed!! Fed Ex just delivered a very heavy box. We opened it to find it's from Radisson. Hmmmmm?? What could Radisson be sending us?

Inside was a beautiful Mahogany(?), velvet lined box is a gorgeous limited edition brass bell. It is gorgeous! On the outside of the box is a plaque which reads "Seven Seas Voyager World Cruise Limited Edition 152/250". (I guess there are 250 couples or singles doing the full world cruise?)
There's a note that reads:

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Matassa,

In many cultures a great journey has always started and ended to the sound of a bell, and for centuries seafarers have relied on the sounds of a bell to tell the time of day, a call to the mess or the sighting of land. So we feel it is fitting that we send to you, as you prepare for a voyage that will circle the globe, a gift of a miniature ships bell. Be sure to ring the bell as you leave home and again on your return, the time between the chimes we know will be filled with adventure, camaraderie and unforgettable memories.

This limited edition bell has been especially designed to mark the first Circumnavigation of the World by the magnificent Seven Seas Voyager.

Christmas cruisers, now and in the past I understand, are receiving a limited edition snow globe to commemorate (sp?) the Christmas voyage. It is quite the showpiece inside and has representations of all 5 RSSC ships along the base. They have one at the reception desk for viewing & ours will be waiting for us when we return.

I'm still so very excited for you, Marcie! To be able to enjoy this wonderful environment and the marvelous ports of call for so long as a world cruise is unimaginable to me right now. BUT - Keith and I know it's in our future sometime! I pray Radisson will stick around that long and wait for us.
