Just received our Amex Membership Rewards Frist booklet. On the lower half of page 41 there is a Bonus Points Offer section. Regent is listed as a 2x points company. They show a "Requires promo Code AMX Double MR Bonus ID #". Has anyone heard anything about this promo offer or how it works? It sure would be nice to get double points for a Regent cruise.

It is only for reservations booked ONLINE through Amex Travel Services, and of course, is at the published rate, with no rewards like we get at BK! So not really a deal https://www134.americanexpress.com/consumertravel/travel.do?page=offers
I believe this has been around for while now.
