Yes, JoAnn, Denise, Priscilla and all, your time on CROSS will have to be "chatty" on lct as well! Lots of us will be in cruise withdrawal by then, waiting to hear from you! Lots of you have free e-mail, and it is pretty good from the ship on the crossing, as well as in the ports!

I'm looking forward to another vicarious cruise as you "retrace", almost the ports for TAP!

I am trying to decide if I should book a flight for later that day ( to go to Lisbon) or wait until the next day. If we arrive early ( which I also assume) , then I might leave that afyternoon as I'll have time to tour for awhile prior to going to teh airport.

I have never boarded that early , but from what other people have told me, they have been able to board around 12:30 and allowed into their rooms around 2:30.

You have given me an idea regarding staying on CROSS..... At least one of us has to return to take care of our daughter. I don't think it has to be BOTH of us. Do you think DH would approve of me staying??? :D <img border="0" alt="[vhappy]" title="" src="graemlins/icon_vhappy.gif" />

I'm new to this board, just registered today, have yakked w/ JoAnn on CC. My sis and I are on the full Nov. Cross. I'm Shirley, live in San Diego, sister Sandy lives in Rancho Palos Verdes. When we introduce ourselves we say we are sisters, but defiitely not "nuns". Fun loving? You bet! I have read all the posts on this Roll Call an have had some really good laughs. Sounds like there is a really good group that must do a lo of travelng together.
Got a kick out of the "accent blurbs". Now, being from Kansas, we could add the midwest twang. I don't cross the creek, it's crik. And, I don't wash my clothes, I worsh them. Just can't seem to ditch those little nuances. JoAnn, are we still going to meet up at the Four Seasons for introductions and a drink? We've been lookin into booking a driver thru the hotel for a half day of sight seeing. Damn, it's pricey. Haven't decided yet. So....are we now on the official Roll Call? I guess you could say we are "unemcumbered" meaning unmarried.

As you may recall, we are flying in from LAX to Nice, connecting in Frankfurt, as well. However, I believe we're leaving a few days earlier than you are. The long flight is the pits, but the destination and cruise make the long flight more than worthwhile!

Yes, I remember you Diane, just can't remember what date you fly out. We leave 10/31 at 3:30 p.m. on Lufthansa. Oh, I forgot to mention in earlier posts, we are in Suite 930. :banana:

Thanks Denise. Could some of you experts out there answer a question for me? Can you book a reservation for Signatures & Latitudes for each segment of the B2B Cross? I would think so, but am not sure. Want to do that on line as soon as it opens up.

Shirley, welcome to LCT! Yes, when the reservations for Latitudes and Signatures open for the first segment, you should be able to make reservations for both segments at that time. Sometimes it doesn't work just right, though. We're on two segments of the Grand Asia circle cruise on the Mariner coming up in a couple weeks. When the reservations opened for the first segment, we could make reservations on that segment and only for a few days into the next segment. I keep checking and now it looks like the reservation system is down altogether. They may be fixing it (let's hope :rolleyes: ). Look forward to meeting you on CROSS.

Don, sure looking forward to meeting you and your wife. I have had some good chuckles in reading some of the earlier dialog on this thread. My sister and I are new comers to this site and have been added to the roll call. I would imagine you already have the murder mystery all in place but in the off chance there is still room for a couple more characters, Sandy and I would love to participate. If not, we certainly understand. Just sounds like a blast. Also interested in the trivia team. Sandy says I am smarter than she is, but she's younger. I'm still trying to figure out which is the best.
