We are sailing on the new Disney Fantasy; May 19 to 26 with ports of call being Disney's Castaway Cay, St. Thomas, St. Martin and 3 sea days.

Celebrating Tom's retirement; our adult kids were going to join us but our daughter is pregnant

Sue, please come back and let us know how the Fantasy is! We did the Wonder a few years ago and I loved it.

Suzanne, your cruise sounds like tons of fun!

Sue & Tom enjoy the Fantasy!

CvH, I think you will love the Navigator. We are on the cruise just prior to yours with a group of fun friends. We will have the ship all primed for you and maybe even leave the ship with a couple of bottles of wine for you. :)
cheer

Yes, finally! We're on the SF-Van opening season Alaska cruise on Navigator. Itinerary's posted above. We're going to spend 3 nights in SF pre-cruise at the Donatello, and a week post-cruise, part of which we'll spend with Fred and Pat down on Camano Island!

Wendy, I love the Donatello! Did you get a terrace room? We are checking into the Donatello on May 1st, maybe we will see you when you are checking out :)
Also, my favorite restaurant, Jeanne d\'arc is only a block away from the Donatello. It's one of the best kept secrets and such a bargain! The Grand Marnier souffle is the best I have ever had.

Karen, we're checking out on May 1st, when we board probably around noonish, arriving a little early to enjoy SF. Thanks for the restaurant tip.

Didn't know about the Terrace rooms, guess I'll check when we arrive.

Just found out that Michael and I will be on the Mariner - Venice to Rome on 20 May - anyone else going? We are apparently flying to London and boarding the Oriental Express to Venice. It's so new to me, I am still looking for my Valium to face so many flights! Lee

Is it three months away? It seems as if it will be tomorrow. Of course, I happen to be in Brisbane at the moment visiting my sister and can't even give him my passport details. When the Queen Mary 2 arrived in Sydney on Wednesday and here yesterday, I thought it was a 'sign' (until I read his email) as sailing from New York to Southampton was on our 'bucket list'.

This sounds wonderful, Lee! Almost better not to have much time to think about it. I think Michael comes up with some pretty good ideas, and can't wait to see his pictues you send from the ship like last time.

When I get over the shock, no doubt I'll be excited, but I'm really not ready for all those long flights! I need a year to recover after the last lot! What a spoilt brat I turned out to be! Is there really no-one out there joining us?

I'm dancing here today for my May 1st Navigator Alaska trip, although my docs are up in Toronto. I'll get to see the new format finally, on Friday when David arrives here in Florida.

I never get the chance to actually open my documents (Michael gets them in the US) but can pretend and do a little jig or two. Thanks to Beth, we will not be joining Mariner on 20 May without a 'connection' but are there really no LCTers joining us?

20 May Venice
21 May Urbino (Italy)
22 May Dubrovnik
23 May Kotor
24 May Corfu
25 May Taormina (Italy)
26 May Amalfi/Positano
27 May Florence
28 May Monte Carlo
29 May Portofino
30 May Rome

No sea days!! Could be a challenge although we are lucky enough to have visited a couple of ports before, so can do short tours then. I am still trying to get my head around the fact that I'm going to be on board.

Lee, could I adopt your son??? ;)

And the Orient Express too! WoW! Pls do tell us about that. The closest I've been to it was one time I saw it in the Milan train station.

Is there really no one out there joining us?
