Maria, Ngaire has been to some of the ports. Maybe she can e-mail you her report when she gets back to the office.

Chip, what is the new photo, is that one you took in Asia from Crystal last year? (fishing boat?) Didn't realize you were getting on a cruise before us. By then, you should know everyone, and have a complete social calendar for all of us as we board (just kidding, not into that). I just can't imagine cruising in the US. So what is your purpose of doing so? Just like longer cruises?

Olivia, That's dawn on the Saigon River taken about a year ago today.
I like New England. I spent a few summers in Buzzard's Bay as a child with my great aunt. In fact the boat goes right by her old house in Marion MA. Maybe I'll get a photo (yeah right) I'll probably be pretty sick of lobster by the time you all get on the ship too.
Of coarse I'll be able to make dinner reservations, cabin changes and anything else for LCT'ers.

Yay---We're on NINJA too. I'll be looking for my grandmother's family home as we sail by in the Sognefjord. As for dinner reservations--we need to plan an LCT dinner night--or at least a get together so we can all meet in person. :bv:

I'm going to start a new thread, exclusive to NINJA (and not all June cruisers) for this purpose, so we won't miss out on others in Ngaire's group who only lurk and may not otherwise read this.

We will be on the PG, June 4th departure. Final payment made!!! Hard to believe it is really happening. Our very first cruise, if you don't count the week sailing around the BVI with another couple, and thank goodness a cook and captain. Food was just ok, though it was a unique experience for us. My husband's fantasy had been selling the house and sailing around the world!! That week sure cured him, when he realized how much was literally poured into keeping the thing in shape etc.

That's good, Jeanine, that your husband has already been cured of that fantasy. That's exactly what my husband wanted to do when we came back from FP the first time.

Hi Susan,
My mom was just talking to me about this very cruise ! She really likes it but they already have a Europe land trip planned for later in the summer and she can't do both. Please let us know how you like it. If we hear good reports about Oceania we might try it next year.
Thanks!
