Please, nobody take my posts on this subject as "griping." I'm just trying to provide info that will help solve a problem.
First, we can forget about the theory that the board somehow has an AOL compatability problem. During times when the board was not responding, I tried my second Internet Service Provider that came along with the Cox Cable broadband cable service, and had the same "non-response" problem.
Second, we can forget about any theories that my problem has something to do with my location, as all other boards were working just fine (except for the Honda S2000 board, which has announced it is under reconstruction and subject to periodic problems.)
Finally, the intermittent nature of the problem would seem to point to some sort of overload. Perhaps more people are trying to view or post than the server has capacity.
It must have been impossible for this board to have planned for the success it has had. Like me, we all are prepared for failure, but it is more difficult to plan for success. I wish this board the best of luck in eventually solving this problem.
