According to two different Regent customer service representatives, Regent will be changing their advance reservations for Prime 7 and Signatures from 30 days prior to your cruise to 75 days. This should be happening very soon. They will send out an e-mail notification when it goes into effect.

What difference will it make? If you are gold or silver you get priority reservations anyway.

Kathy, Where do you see that?? I just looked at the Society benefits section on Regent website and see nothing about that.

Indeed it is gone as a perk, but used to be there, for whatever it was worth then.

Another benefit taken away. :(
It was always nice knowing that I could request a dinner reservation onboard. Now, I will have to queue up at 75 days like the rest.

There are additional deletions from Goldmember benefits such as the premium cruise insurance and photo book. Pretty soon, there will be nothing left except for the daily newspaper. :(

Can someone get rid of FDR? He is ruining a perfectly good cruise line. :(

I never knew it was a perk, maybe it was a perk in between my cruises.

I used to have that .pdf download from when the tiers were first announced, on my computer desktop. I don't see it right now, but I'm going to keep looking for it.

I'm a pack rat. I found this from early 2006 on the tier program. ![[Linked Image]](http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww112/lonestarlady53/SevenSeasBenefits.jpg) Unfortunately, "priority reservations" only work if they have openings. My experience on some of the fully booked cruises has been that there are very limited openings, if any, by the time you set sail (most of the restaurant reservation slots are already full by the time of sailing, from online reservations). Personally, I like the 75 day out reservation idea. I would really like to be able to make at least one reservation per restaurant per segment that far in advance, just like we do the shore excursions. Once on board, I do think Seven Seas Society members should get priority for any available openings, but I don't see this listed as a benefit anymore.

I remember them offering pressing 24/7 to the next tier under 200 nights (can you tell I am tier LOST? ) and then withdrawing it POOF it was gone! Wrote to Rose Clark she said they did a trial and it did not work too much work - THEN YOU NEVER SHOULD HAVE OFFERED IT! Rose is now gone, I think - she did ask me "how much pressing can you have?" Lots if you wear linen...yes just saw it thanks!!! - comp pressing - it was gone in heartbeat

While I like the perks I have, the ones I miss the most (and they were for everyone who had ever sailed)were the SS Society extra discount on EVERY cruise at a flat 5%, and a flat 5% for all onboard bookings. I would trade my daily newspaper for those in a minute.

YES Olivia!!!!! Was looking at invoices since Sept 2003 - tell you the truth I forget how many cruises but just 2 nights shy of 200 - we have cut back due to price - sure were some great deals in the old days!!!

I guess I can understand why they are doing this but trying to decide where and when I am going to eat 75 days from boarding the ship is ?????. Do you make reservation for 2 for 4 for 6 . I would strongly suggest that the reservations are limited to half the available tables until a day or two before the dining date. That allows for some imprompt to dining arrangements. If I found that there was no way Carol and I could get into Prime 7 for at least one night of a 10 or 14 night cruise I would not be a happy camper ( cruiser). Just my humble view.

It confuses the heck out of me, too, Ralph. I just don't know right now, what night we'll want to be where. I do hope Ricardo is still onboard, he takes such wonderful care of us! And hoping sweet Seth managed to get back to the ship he wants to be on (Navigator).

Ralph, my friends wonder how I can decide when and where I want to travel more than two years in advance (Africa!) I too see no need for a 75 day window. What's the point in it? I'm at a loss as to their reason.
If I am on a cruise that has a bunch of BK people aboard whom I know, I just book a 6.

It's a pity that people who may not use computers and internet like we do can be left out of an onboard dining experience simply because they are not aware that these things are available so far in advance. While the system is so much better than those times long past where everyone used to stand in long lines on embarkation to make reservations, I just don't see this as an enhancement.

I don't see any practical enhancement here - either you are the type who makes advance reservations, or you are not - what difference does 75 days vs 30 days make? More logically, they should open all the reservations at the same time - dining and shore excursions - so you can take care of everything at one time.

The thing that I find hard about making advance reservations, is that if you want more than a table for two, you have to give someone else's name. I find that it's fun to have a great table and invite friends to join you. You used to be able to do this. :angel2:

Last night all of our "Booked Cruises" disappeared from the website and this morning they were all back with the "Dining Reservations" option appearing for our April 14th cruise on the Navigator. This is 54 days out so something has changed with the advance dining reservations.

Here are the reservations rules:
• Dining reservations may be made beginning 75 days before the cruise, and modified up until 7 days prior to the cruise.
• Guests' reservation must be confirmed with a full deposit received by Regent Seven Seas Cruises in order to make dining reservations. Cruise reservations which are in Wait List status are not eligible to make dining reservations.
• Guests are only permitted to make one reservation per restaurant per cruise. If another guest has invited you to dine with them, you will not be permitted to make your own second reservation.
• If the day and time you wish to make your reservation for are not availalbe, please visit the restaurant once onboard to inquire about additional space.
