I can't remember when one can book shore excursions. Is it 120 days out? Can you go on more than one per day? (talking about the free ones, here.) Just can't remember. We had to pay for all our shore excursions on the PG, and many were all booked up way before 120 days. Wondering if it is that way for the Navigator, Voyager and Mariner. Many thanks for your help. Elena :app: PS: in this instance, the ship is the Navigator.

The stated lead time is 120 days out. I'd check periodically before then. On an Alaska cruise this June, we were able to book more than 120 days out...but that may have been due to growing pains on the new web site. There have been reports about this on other cruises and sometimes specific tours were full by the official start date...that's why I'd check at intervals earlier. You can book as many free (or surcharged) excurisons as you wish as long as they don't overlap...I think the requirement is a 1 hour gap. This seemed to work as advertised for our cruise except in one case where there was a 75 minute gap and the web site wouldn't accept both. I booked the one we cared most about on the web site and then called Regent and had no problem getting them to add the other.

Yes, do check more than 120 days out--ours were available about 5 months out.
If you happen to join a multi-segment journey that overnights in your embarkation port, you can't book anything on that first night (our cruise overnights in Rio and there's an evening event that we can't book online, but probably could onboard if we wished.)

We leave Nov 30, pretty sure that is less than 120 days away. I have been checking almost daily for a month, and daily for sure this week, and, nothing.

That's very strange. If it was me, I'd call Regent about it, or ask my TA about it. Here's my elapsed time calculator bookmark that I use to check this type of thing: http://www.elapsedtimecalculator.com/Elapsed-Time-Calculator.aspx

Sure. There is no reason that two people in the same suite have to go on the same excursions.

Alan and I don't always go on the same excursions. He's taking some big bike ride in Alaska. I would just fall off and break a leg so I chose something else.

I just wanted to know since I like the adventure stuff (zip lines) and Ted tends to turn green just thinking about that. I wasn't sure if they some had our reservations coupled in their system. The stuff I've been hearing about the new website doesn't give me a lot of faith, if you know what I mean. But, we've got nothing on the books, I was just wondering.

Colleen,
When you book excursions online, the website will show your name and Ted's name on each excursion available for that particular port. There is a check box next to each name. So if you wanted to book a zip line excursion but Ted didn't, you would mark the check box next to your name while leaving the check box next to Ted's name blank. Ted would do the same thing if he wanted to book a different excursion while you were on the zip line excursion. Note that the website will not allow you to book overlapping excursions or excursions where the start time of the second excursion is not at least one hour after the end time of the first excursion.
Hope this helps.
Dave
