Hello to all, from onboard the Diamond. We are from Philadelphia, and diehard EAGLES fans. We just boarded in San Juan for our 5-night cruise absolutely distraught about having to miss our EAGLES in tonight's Superbowl game (no FOX Satellite onboard - only ESPN)... figured that the best we'd be able to do would be to watch in a local bar for the first half, then hurry back to the ship for our 9:30 all aboard, 10:00 sailing. Well, first we talked to Captain Jeremy, then to Guisseppe, and the next thing we knew, there was an all-ship announcement that they are serving dinner early and that Guisseppe had walked over to Senor Frog's to make sure that they were showing the game ... and GET THIS... all-aboard has been moved to 11:00 so that everybody can watch the whole game!!! Now, all we need to do is get them to teach everybody the EAGLES fight song at muster..... isn't Radisson just unbelievable??? To Linda L from Brown & Keene, thanks again for all the arrangements ... everything is just great. :app:

Well, unfortunately, our beloved eagles lost .... but we are the big winners... because now we set sail for a wonderful 5 day caribbean cruise! We will pass along your good wishes to captain Jeremy and to Guiseppe, and start counting down to next year's superbowl, starting tomorrow!

Thanks Margo. I must have walked right past it when I went to the port in Old San Juan in December and didn't notice it. I'll make a point of visiting it when I go to PR in the summer. Looks fun.

It's great to hear yet another example of how RSSC will go out of their way to accomodate their guests.

I think I'll be the first Patriot fan to add to this thread, although it was really Tom Brady that I was rooting for since he is a former U of M wolverine.

That's what we love about RSSC - they are amazing about taking care of their passengers. Like you, I'm depressed about the outcome of the game.

Gil - you are 100% correct. I was completely disgusted. It was like they gave up and just wanted it over with. Aikman kept sounding astonished that they kept going into a huddle and just strolled back to the line of scrimmage. Andy Reid was completely outcoached in the second half of the game.

No question about it, New England deserved to win. It was a great game, though.
