Received our 2007 World Cruise docs today from our TA. Less than a month to go. Placed our deposit in January...guess now the trip is really real!

Congrats on the docs!! Our docs are at our agent's office. Makes it all seem real.
Now, if I could only figure out a way to magically have all our stuff pack itself neatly in our suitcases (and not have to do it myself).
27 days till we sail . . .

With that many pages of excursions how do you ever decide? I would probably want to do the impossible - do them all!!!!!!!!

Just doing a world cruise is my dream...and the excursions would break the bank, but you only live once! And if you're lucky you do some WCs too!

Luckily, on the WC there are quite a few complimentary excursions (some involve flights and overnights such as Cairo and Bangkok) but chosing others is very overwhelming to say the least.
As of now the excursion I'm most excited about is going to the Elephant Orphanage in Sri Lanka!(I saw it featured on 60 Minutes once and always wanted to go visit!)

Yes, that excursion book is over 1/2 inch thick!!
It was good timing for us though -- we had a huge wind storm in Seattle last night and have been without power for 24 hours. Those docs looked pretty dang good by candlelight!!!

Hi all,
Very happy you've received your docs. Since we're not on till last leg mine wont come for a while. I do have a question for you all on the WC. When I first looked at possible shore excursions the ones for Barcelona included a backstage tour of the 2 main opera venues. Now that I'm able to pre-book our tours (under 120 days), this excursion isn't listed. Does your excursion booklet offer this tour? I started another thread about this, but since you're all getting your docs and excursion book, would someone please look this up for me,
