Posting this here so it will be seen.

Ker & Downey are producing a magazine that has some really wonderful articles and information. Glossy pages, wonderful photograpy. I was very impressed with this publication.

This first copy had information on the Mountain Gorillas and the Amazon and some unique products that I would not have known about otherwise. They do cover so many areas of the world.

When I received it I asked them if they were sending it to our clients that had booked through them but they said no as they would not do that without my permission. THey do of course have all your addresses already.

Personally I think you would all really like this magazine so I said okay but if ANYONE DOES NOT WANT IT then just let me know and I can be sure you are not sent a copy. Just too many people to contact and ask everyone's permission.

Can we get a copy if we haven't booked with them? I LOVE magazines, especially travel magazines!

EVERYONE that has been on an African Safari, through me with K&D or is going on NILE or POLAR BEARS or ARCTIC should get one. THey do adventure type trips so I limited the list to these people. I cannot give him my whole client list that would be too many people.

I did add you Susan as you requested

Lee they wont send overseas, do you want me to add Micheal to the list? Maybe he could see it and then send it down to you.

Yes please Ngaire - he's coming home for Christmas. Even if I never make it, he's got plenty of enthusiasm for both of us! I live in hope though. Lee

The reason I thought you might like it is because there are also articles on some of the places that the ROAR 2, LION, WILD DOG, TUSK, and GAME safaris visited. Always more fun to read about somewhere you have been. Birkenhead on the cover and that story about the owner of Birkenhead and La Residence, Liz Biden that some of you met briefly.

Seeing Birkenhead House on the cover brought back fond memories, as did the back cover of Petra.

TedC, got my copy today; we've never met, but yes, those were two fantastic photos! Probably because I've been there a couple of times, Birkenhead so special. I might not have felt that way with sideways rain on the days before ROAR, but honestly, that place is magic. My daughter returned two days later to perfect weather, just like the picture on the cover, and I saw the same on my next visit. I can't wait to return to BHH AND La Residence for ROAR 3!!

Petra one of my greatest travel experiences as well, although I could hardly keep up with the venerable party woman Suzanne (our very own fogmalkin) to climb back up to the top in the afternoon. She lives in SF Bay area, and is used to hills.

Ted, just editing to say that yes, now remember you and your lovely wife were in the "late arriving" BK group to Birkenhead House when I was last there, and then we headed on to the ship for many more meals and fun! I seem to get mixed up between land trips and cruises! (And then the cruise I was on for Petra, I know you were not there!)

And funny how our "names" here (mine included) don't translate to real life at all!
