Hi everyone,

This is my first post on this board. My husband and I are sailing on the Navigator to Bermuda on August 24. This is our First Radisson cruise. We are veteran cruisers with 5 RCI and 11 HAL Cruises uder our belt. We are used to HAL's S suites and are looking forward to the experience of a true luxury line experience.

We have booked a B level suite. Is there any information or advice that you can give us?

We are aged 57(me) and 65(DH). We are both professionals. I am a psychologist and my husband is a retired teacher. We enjoy the upscale, relaxing cruise experience. My husband is more port oriented than I am. Cruises are perfect for us, meeting both our needs and wants. We both enjoy socializing and have wide interests.

By the way, is anyone going to be onboard with us?

Linda cheer

Thanks for listening.

Hi Linda,

As you know, I'm not on your cruise, but I was just "nosing" around to see if you made it here.

Glad to see you did.

Hi Linda,

Welcome to LCT. You will find this a friendly place to get expert advice on Radisson (Silver Seas, Oceania and other) cruises.

I just got back from a Baltic cruise on the Voyager and we had a Penthouse B suite and just loved it. Not sure how it compares with the Navigator. Hope you enjoy the small size of the Navigator. We've been on her twice. She's a lovely ship.

Not sure if anyone else from here is on your cruise. Look under Cruise Roll Call and Cruise Acronym List to see if anyone is joining you.

Have fun in Bermuda and let us know how you enjoyed it on your return.

I just got off the Navigator and the ship is running really well, the food was great as was the service, they have some really great staff. You are going to have a wonderful time. The B category cabin is the same as all the other cabins just higher on the ship and with a butler service. Little nibbles at night!!

Have a super time.

Linda, welcome aboard. I was with Ngaire on that Navigator cruise and vouch for all she said. If Felipe is still in Gallileo's tell him his friends from the Norway cruise said hello!

Hi Linda!

Just like Ngaire and Olivia(jhp) I was on the Navigator a month ago( was it that long ago?? :( ) and the experience was superb! Even better than when I was on Navigator 5 years ago. I can't even think of one negative thing to say about the ship, the staff or the cruise experience.

I wish you smooth sailing. Please report back as soon as you can!

Hi Linda and welcome to LCT! Like you, we were suite passengers on HAL. I think you're going to find the change very pleasant. From the insuite bar setup to the relaxed open dining, it's just so much less frantic.

You'll rarely see a line for anything. Some of my most vivid memories of HAL are when people were pushing and shoving to get a tender ticket or disembarking. Utimately the crowds got to us and switching to RSSC really was a great choice. Hope you'll agree after your first Navigator cruise.

Thanks so much for the warm welcome.

We really enjoy our HAL suites and we are looking forward to the enhancements of RSSC. The smaller ships with fewer passengers and greater staff ratios has us excited. We are looking forward to a more personal, intimate experience than is possible on a larger ship.

I am going to work on posting a picture as soon as I can.

Linda :)
