Just received an interesting e-mail about an "Exclusive 3-day Event." Thirteen cruises from November 12, 2011 to April 20, 2012, are listed with reduced prices (lower than what was currently listed on the Regent Web site) and with what I think are new shipboard credits of up to $500 per suite. aThese must be booked between 9/14 and 9/16.
Is this what we can expect in the future? I guess I'm fine with IF Regent continues to allow our cruise agents to adjust current bookings.
I find it particularly interesting that the Barcelona to Dubai cruise is listed, which was the cruise that replaced our original crossing this year. That cost of that cruise has been drastically reduced over time from its original pricing.

The heading says "Cruise only" does this mean that Regent is not including air and tours for the special prices for this sale?

The way I read it is that excursions are included but no air or pre cruise hotel.
Frankly, I fail to see any great reductions. If you substract air and hotel credit from website fares (price before the 3 days sale) you get pretty much the same price as the 3 days sale. Plus, some of the shipboard credits already offered for some of those cruises by B&K equal or surpass the shipboard credits in this new offer. Would they be in addition to the B&K shipboard credits?

I missed the fact that these "Exclusive 3-Day Event" cruises didn't include air or the hotel package. So they aren't such good deals after all.
In some ways, I'm glad because I don't really want Regent to constantly adjust fares when they don't fill their ships.

Actually these are the EXACT SAME FARES as they were before. They have just never shown their fares WITH the air and hotel credits applied.
The only new benefits are the Shipboard Credit amounts and our group Shipboard Credits are higher. We have contacted everyone booked by Brown and Keene that was booked on one of these dates yesterday or this morning.
