We are planning the Christmas Cruise on the Navigator on December 18 with our entire family. The cruise goes to the Western Carribean, Cozumel, etc. My question is the weather: Here in South Florida, it can get chilly at that time of year. Should we be prepared for some cool weather on this trip? If anyone has done this trip at that time of year, I would appreciate some insight. Actually I realize that weather is difficult to predict, so I guess I'm looking for someone's past experience.

Thanks.

Hi Oliverab, I have cruised several times in December and January and the weather has always been hot and humid for me in the Caribbean. That's not to say that some odd cold front couldn't dip down that far but chances are, it will be balmy.

Thanks Karen - for us "Floridians" anything below 70 deg. is time to bring out warmer clothing. Of course, we look for any excuse to wear our "winter clothes."

We have done that cruise on the Navigator at Christmas. Yup, Western Carib and Cozumel especially, are very warm and humid! It's a great cruise...and the Navigator is wonderful!

We know the Navigator is wonderful - we were on it about a year ago and loved every minute of the trip. Now we are taking our children and their children - I hope there will be other kids on board and enough for them to do - I was assured that at that time of year there would be both.

oliverab:

The price of the Christmas Navigator cruise has come down since it was originally posted. Initially 25% off, then it went to 2 for 1, now it is 40% off. If you booked early, make sure that your TA gets you the additional discount.
