Today I received a $105 check from Regent for the amount of the fuel surcharge on our cruise last August. If I remember correctly we reserved in summer of 2007 for a cruise in 2008. In November 2007, Regent added a fuel surcharge which could be avoided by paying in full, maybe in December, I think. I chose to not pay in full until the appointed time so I paid a fuel surcharge.
Apparently the refund is going out to deposited reservations made before November 6, 2007 which got hit with a fuel surcharge after that.
I looked for another post addressing this but didn't see anything going back thru April. I knew they were giving credits and stuff but I just figured it was not for a retroactive cruise with no future cruise booked at the moment.
