We wanted to arrive at about 2:00 or slightly earlier. They say 3 on the papers. Are they strict with this--do they have a place where you an wait on board until the stateroom is ready?

You will be fine arriving about 2pm
You may have to sit by the pool or wait
at the bar on the back of the ship
until your cabin is ready.
Which is about 2:30 / 3:00 pm

I would not arrive earlier than 2 as some of the passengers do not disembark until one and the crew is working to prepare the staterooms. You will not be permitted to roam the ship or go to your suite prior to 3. I have dropped my luggage offer earlier and roamed around town or in the park adjacent to the dock area.
