I changed the venue to Compass Rose in the first post of this message, I think it will be easier to arrange and it will be just as fun! We can keep it the last night of the cruise, if that is OK with everyone!

Saw where someone posted that Speciality Restaurant reservations open at midnight Eastern Time.

This is NOT correct. Had an experience recently with trying to book at that time and an error was created causing a delay until later the next day to be able to book. Contacted a person at Regent responsible for this and he understood the issue and changed all bookings to be at midnight Central Time. This is for Restaurants as well as Shore Excursions and will remain in effect for the forseeable future.

This is because the servers are actually in Omaha and NOT Ft. Lauderdale. So, for this soiree as well as any future bookings, please wait until midnight Central Time and NOT Eastern,

I don't see Clyde ande Jean on the list. I thought I had said we'd like to be on the list so maybe we are and I just haven't seen an updated list.

Would someone tell me what night would be best for us to try Prime 7? Is Thursday the 6th an open night? This will be the first time I've tried to book a reservation online so I guess I'd like to know what would be open. I just don't want to book on a night that Brown and Keene are having a party!!

Well the first night would not be a bad choice, the 2nd night is Captain's night and the last night is the group dinner. I would think any of the other nights would be fine Jean and Margo. I believe you can only make a reservation for six, I don't know if they have a table or 2 of eight, but my experience for TUT was I could only make one for six -- although we never got that far.

JoAnn, sorry for the silly question, but what is the Captain's Night? We were thinking about making reservations at Prime 7 on the 2nd night of the cruise (Key West), but don't want to miss out on anything by doing so.

Tami - its just the Captain's welcome aboard night, they have a reception with free drinks :woh: LOL and introduce the officers. The dinner in Compass Rose that night is usually quite good, but many go to alternate venuses on that night as well. It use to be a formal night, but now its just Elegant casual, although a lot of men will add a jacket to class it up a bit, and women will dress up sometimes a bit more.

So, Jo-Ann, if I understand what you are saying, we can only book a table for 6? Meaning we sit with whomever? No two-tops in Prime 7? I don't mind sitting with strangers but it might be more fun to be with some of Ngaire's group. I know that's a no-no unless you have booking numbers.,etc. so presumably you just sit with four others that you may or may not know? Am I correct in that thinking?

They used to have tables for 2 against the window...maybe this has changed, or maybe I'm remembering the Voyager ??

I think what JoAnn means is the largest table you can have is a 6?
