My wife and I have enjoyed several Regent cruises on the Mariner and the Voyager. Our favorite activity on board is dancing in the lounges - ballroom dancing. In July we will be on the Navigator for the first time and we are hoping that there will be comparable live music and ballroom style dancing on the smaller ship as there has been on the two larger ships. Any seasoned Navigator cruisers who can let us know what to expect? I could call Regent and probably will, but nothing like hearing it from fellow cruisers. Thanks.

Hi Larry and welcome to the board! Our resident dancer, Doug, can probably answer your question. There was a post some time ago that talking about the dancing venues, I will look to see if I can find it for you.
I just moved to Houston from Pennsylvania, what part of Texas are you in?

There is dancing in the Horizons Lounge on Navigator. Before and after dinner. Not always ballroom but a variety.

Nancy Yes, lunch with Betty and Nancy was wonderful and meeting Nancy for the first time was a treat! What a beauty and soooo very sweet! I may be a bit partial because she is MY size!!

Don't worry about hijacking the thread. I'm getting all the info that I was asking for plus the knowledge that there are so many cruisers in Houston that share the same interest. My wife and I just got back from a nice holiday weekend in Nashville and the honkytonks on Broadway with my sister and her husband. While I am new to the board, this is just great to be able to share experiences with kindred souls.
