Hello, All!

Just a heads up to those who want the "quickie" (no time to read all of the introductions, but still want to make common connections) info about us here at LCT. Click on the directory and browse our names. Keith and I just did that & it's very interesting. We feel like we know all of you, so discovering in a chunk where you live & what you do was quite nice.

Those of you who didn't post a location or hobbies or occupation - give a thought to going back and updating your profile so nosey people like me can say, "Ohhhh! He/she's a (whatever) in (wherever)! Isn't that cool?!" cheer

K, updated :) And thanks, Ash, for posting that -- I had never clicked on the "directory" link before. Now I've found out that I'm only 28 posts behind Ngaire to supplant her as #5 most prolific poster .... MUAHAHAHA! Ooops, sorry, Ngaire.

Masaki,
You will fly by Ngaire Keene with ease as that is her old posting name, she is using just Ngaire now and her post count started all over again :)

Funny, I was wondering about that. But if she just changed her public name versus starting a new iddentity she would have retained all past post counts. That's what I did...

Oh, and I agree Ash, interesting reading. John, you are really a homicide detective? WOW, fascinating and scary at the same time. Boy the stories you must have to tell. Detective fiction is one of my favorites. I'd have you talking shop and Mrs. Kimmi would throw me overboard! LOL...

Just went to the directory. NOW THAT IS COOL.
Saves looking up e-mail addresses. Congratulations to the designer and developer.

I would not have the stomach for either, John. Firstly I'm a big chicken so I couldn't ever do what you do. Kimmie's job would either break my heart or land me in jail as I'd get mad enough to overcome the chicken in me and hurt someone. Much respect to you both.

Well in a couple of years we will be retired and woking on one of the RSSC ships. I want to be the guy who cuts the limes at the pool bar and Kimmi wants to be the one who throws the "Kid Anchor" that SILVERWHITEKIGHT referred to.

No John, you will be the entertainer!!! Standing at the piano bar each night doing what you do Oh so well! I see Kimmi doing the promo videos for Radisson (like Sheri did) looking gorgeous! Tom and I will be sitting at the bar, (watching you of course) drinking Sambucca with Joanna and Tony the snake. Erika and Tom will do the Bolero dance while Suzanne does her pole dance and Lawrence does karaoke, and Marty courts his harem. Best yet...we all get paid big bucks for being in my dream! PRICELESS! Don't wake me!

Hey John, maybe you really could be head of security on one of the Radisson ships. Seriously, that would be a nice job!

Thanks for pointing out the directory, Ash, I enjoyed reading through it. I wanted mainly to see where people were from, but now that I've read everything, I'm just wondering whether our "knight" is managing his harem well? That just cracked me up, what a great sense of humour he has (always).

Ash - another PatB lover! :D

robert - I used to have an enameled Brain pin that was on my bag for a while - do you handle merchandising of products like that?

Okay, out of the loop once again and don't mind asking...since it is known I don't watch TV. What the heck are NARF and ZOIT? Usually I have to ask Marc if they are airport codes. This time, I think it is something else. Wish Marcie were here to sympathize!

John: I think I read once in a "Passages" that the head of security on our ship was a retired "person" from the Philippine Army. To speculate further as to why could just bring up a whole debate not related to cruising (although it would be). I think the better thing is to slice limes and be with the passengers, better yet, be part of the entertainment like Marcie said! From the looks of Kimmi and her personality, she might just put Natalie out of a job (please, any RSSC staff...we are just having fun!)

NARF was a noise Pinky made...Pinky and the Brain was a show that was on TV a while back that I did promotions on.

Masaki - I run promotional programs (think Happy Meal toys) and the branded foods business (think Fruity/Cocoa Pebbles) at Warner Bros. My division is Consumer Products so yes, merchandising is the name of the game. The tackyfication of America - but it pays the bills...

On the Voyager the head of security was a retired British Royal Naval Officer. The women security officers on the ship were from the Philippine Army and some are even the feared Gurkha Warriors. (It's probably why there are no smiles)
I am sick of always having to enforce the rules.
Its time I break a few.
