Having not been on the PG prior to this cruise, I can only guess that these 'wings' are what was added during the last dry dock. The link got wrapped into two lines, and somehow a ? in the middle of it got eliminated. I edited my original post and added in the ? so it should be OK now.

They are very popular seats! Always in use, but I did not spot any hogs.... or flip flops, or books, or whatever. Just people.
