I've noticed a definite drop-off lately in people talking in this forum. Every time I check in, no new posters. Are you all off cruising somewhere, or posting on the other boards? I'm going thru withdrawal here.

We've just signed on to AUSSIE for Jan 2013, anyone else going along?

You will love AUSSIE. I cruised on DINGO which is the opposite itinerary last November. Get ready for a lot of action packed offerings on excursions and some milder ones. The Kiwis are adventure seekers for the most part.

Since you are two days in Melbourne, I'd suggest on your first day, hiring a private guide and taking a trip down the Great Ocean Road. We had a 12 hour drive and have recommended it here. Seeing the gorgeous coast and Twelve Apostles, along with wildlife was an amazing day.

I have been salivating over the 54 night Bali to Singapore cruise myself.

Well, I'm happy that my post got some action! Beth, we are actually planning a 3-week drive from Adelaide thru Melbourne to Sydney, after AUSSIE, so will be away for up to 6 weeks! One of the must-sees is the Apostles, and a fly-in trip to Uluru, so we are really looking forward to this! I worked in Brisbane for 4 months back in '98, and have wanted to go back ever since.

PS - we'll be on Voyager for AUSSIE, so any info about that ship would be great! We've been on Mariner, but never Voyager. I understand it's a great ship. (but, how can any Regent ship be bad???)

Susan, there has been lots of "action" that I hope you aren't missing. Victor and Jackie are both reporting live from the Voyager.

Yes, I'm following their live posts with great interest, thanks! There hadn't been much chat on the general board here on LCT, so thought I'd see where everyone was.... Fun to see who's off on what voyage, so thanks to all who responded.

Oh, of course! I forgot, being in Canada, that your big Turkey day was last weekend. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! We enjoyed ours back in October.
