Dag has resigned from RSSC. Sad day! First Knut, now Dag. You can read his letter on CC Regent thread. Something is really rotten in Denmark with RSSC since Apollo took over. Wouldn't even consider cruising with them again, or with Oceania.

Doug, you can read it here, too :) Ngaire posted it yesterday in the Mark Conroy Town Hall post if you would like to read the discussion..

Doug,
I can relate to your postings - - we too are very seriously considering SILVER SEA AND SEABOURN over RSS. Can not believe how a classy line can fall so quickly - - but guess it is with the powers to be ...... Rod

Just read on the Seabourn board of CC that one of the Seabourn captains told a pax that Dag wants to come to Seabourn and that he's just waiting for a vacancy to open up. Interesting! Hope it comes to pass.

doug, that would be nice. Lynn adding that Terry Breen's newsletter hinted that she might have news on Dag in her next installment.

According to CC Capt Dag will be master of Seabourn Spirit. Hope he eventually gets to Odyssey or Sojourn, since they have balconies, whereas Legend and Spirit do not.

So happy for him, Seabourn is lucky! He'll be in the Med the same time we are on TUT but paths won't cross, darn! I bet he'll feel like he's back on Song of Flower.

Doug, perhaps he'll get the next Seabourn new-build, I think it's going to be named "Quest" and will be launched next summer.
Even though the small ships have no balconies, they are a delight to cruise. The passengers will love Captain Dag!

I've never met Captain Dag but apparently he will be Captain when I'm on the Spirit in October. Looking forward to meeting him...
