I vaguely recall a free-standing mirror when we were in the Horizon Suite. This goes back awhile, before the Horizon Suites had butlers. I had a penthouse on the Mariner last trip (Tokyo to LA portion) and there was no mirror.

BTW, the canopy tour is a must, even if you are 85 and use a cane/walker (you get my drift). Honestly, you are so hooked up that you could do it if you were 85 years old,
M.

For Dan, I think you are going the better way dependant upon timings. We hit the Pacific station about 4.30 and whilst we had got up fell asleep again and awaoke when in the main canal / lake area having missed the first 2 sets of locks, still seen one seen them all I suppose. I would look carefully at your tours you wsih to take, I think the insuite TV on channel 3 or 4 gives an introduction to them all as per the ports you call at. We did do the canopy tour in the gondolas at Costa Rica, it was interesting but in all honesty it did not fulfill me enough to want ever to do it again. It is very easy to get into and out of the gondolas, even the lesser able passenger can easily manage. To show how small this world is, My wife and I were seated with 6 other guests who all came from a town in Essex, England about 35 minutes drive from us. We had not met them before on the ship or elsewhere, as I say a small world, getting smaller every day! Another tour offered and one I would not recommend was the beach club in Acapulco, a large let down and subject to correspondence as is the Gatun Lake stand-in tour to Zorra Lake. I would definately miss the 1st and as long as no delays are apparent take the 2nd but not if you are running late as they pinch time from the lake element. The only trouble is, you do not know if you are running late until you are on the tour, catch 24!!! The tour I would definately do again is the Ray City one, I was a little concerned when they started to knock me off my feet but only in case I let my arms flail about and accidently caught a sting. Other than that a seriously great time was had by all. Terrific to feed totally wild rays who appeared to look forward to your company even if only because they were going to be fed. Enjoy. Don

Don, Thank you for your candid review. Do we now have English LCT members?

Andi, we have several English members! We also have some from Australia, Denmark, Turkey, Chili, Sweden, and Greenland.

You can look in the directory and arrange them by location to see where everyone is from. We seem to have the most coming from Atlanta, LA and quite a few friends from our neighbor, Canada.

DON, Thanks so much for the recap. I will take everything you pointed out into consideration. My wife and I did some ray feeding in Bora Bora and it really is quite remarkable. I will most likely do it again in Grand Cayman. The canopy tour that I am interested in is not in the gondolas but of the Zip line nature. Platform to platform. Hopefully it will be a different experiance than what you had in the gondola. Thanks very much, Dan

I know what you did last Winter

Karen, I had no idea. This is great!!! I knew about our Canadian neighbors, but had no idea that we were drawing folks from across the pond. Except for England, I noticed that RSSC does not draw from the European market very much. There are no airline deals and it is quite cumbersome to arrange your own travel. Additionally, I notice more EU travelers preferring lines where English is not the only tongue spoken.

Hello from England again, we do see several adverts for Radisson in our press, some with the 2 for 1 offers but we do not seem to get the air deals you Americans do, I suppose due to the length of our flights, however we did receive a complimentary upgrade to World Traveller Plus, just up from basic, I think you call it coach and below Club or Business class, so we do get some inducements to cruise with them. Again, for Dan, the tree top zip line looked very interesting, one slip is supposed to be about 100 feet from one station to another, just hanging from your seat, looked good on the TV probably would have looked good in person, but we didn't go on that tour, enjoy.
