Well have a bit of time, ship sails 2 weeks from today. I've cancelled a few "appts" so I have a bit more time for myself.

I posted a question to Matsuri, gee I hope I got the spelling right, I appologize if I didn't as he had responded to me about Flonaise in an earlier thread.

Thanks again everyone for all your help and advice. I'll still be checking in here when I have the time.

I think a good part of my nerves are because I have to fly. If my ears are ok, that's more than 1/2 to be sure I'll have a good time.
If my mom, my husband and myself are all healthy and nothing bad happens, I will 100% for sure have a good time. Since I am now going with no expectations (which is a good thing).

I doubt I will ever travel as some of you do anymore. I learned some important stuff from all of you. Y'all gave me insight as to why you love cruising as opposed to "other means of travel". I understand and while it may not be "for us" I now understand while people "love to cruise", this alone was a learning experience as I never knew so many people loved to cruise on a "regular basis or as much as possible".

I will write to you about my personal experiences and evaluations when I get back as promised.
thanks again and to anyone cruising soon, have a wonerful time and safe, healthy and happy travels to all.

It's actually Masaki, and I'm sure he'll respond. He's in Hawaii, so he does usually post while those of us on the East Coast are sleeping.

Bon Voyage, Mrs. Moose...we almost took this cruise but our eldest starts preschool on this very date, hence why the 7th, it would have been a pleasure to meet you! :bv:

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends ~~M. Angelou~~

Hi Mrs Moose (just love the name)

I read your first name somewhere but can't find it now, so forgive the formality.

My sister always wanted to see a moose and the closest we came to it was seeing a stuffed one in an LL Bean shop. She had her photo taken with it!

Flying is my biggest fear and in two weeks time I have a 15 + 6 hour flight by myself to contend with before I even think about starting the cruise. If I can do it, I'm sure you'll be fine. If you find you really are bad, why don't you get something from the doctor to calm you down a bit. I'm not ashamed to say I have to have something before I fly - panic attacks are not pleasant!

Have a fantastic time - I know you will.

Lee

Jean, at this point, we know alot about you from your many posts. Just need to know about your cruise experience, as you have not done it, so I hope you will tell. I was a reticent joiner to this type of travel as well. For some it works, for others not. We will be interested to hear how your adventure takes you. Bon Voyage!
