LeeAnne, I am really glad that you can be excited about your cruise again. We have been on the PG twice and we loved it so much we would like to do it again. It's really wonderful that this story is going to have a happy ending.

We're all so happy for you, LeeAnne...and I concur with Joanna....given your situation I hope I would be able to handle it as beautifully as you did! And yes, it sure helps big time having B & K behind you!!

Check out past threads on the Intercon in Papeete. I seem to remember you can get a good deal joining the Ambassadors and reaping a free weekend night, upgrade or some such thing. Not sure if it will work for you, but perhaps Denise or Marc can direct you.

Can't wait for your sea mail!!

Bonnie, yes I learned yesterday about the Ambassador club, and it works! I joined yesterday then booked my stay, and I'm getting one night free plus an upgrade to a lagoon room. Unfortunately that's the best room they have available -- all the panoramics and bungalows are sold out. But from what I can tell, the garden and lagoon rooms are the only ones that have twin beds anyway...and honestly, I love my mother and all, but we don't need an intimate romantic bungalow with only one bed. ;)

My biggest problem now is that I'm back in this information-gathering frenzy! I'd already done all the possible reading I could do about my other cruise, but now I've got to know ALL about the ship, and the restaurants, and about the excursions, and about the hotel, and the islands we'll be visiting that weren't on the earlier itinerary, and about the new dive sites that I'll be able to visit now... Yes, life sucks when you've gotta spend all your time preparing for exotic vacations, don't it? :D
