Attended a Silversea function and thought I would share some of the information from that luncheon.
This year the line is celebrating their 10th year anniversary, offering several spotlight sailings on all of their ships which will offer some really special complimentary shore excursions.
The entertainment is being stepped up a notch and will offer the production shows again and some of the cirque de sol type shows.
They allow you to board where you wish and disembark where you wish as long as you stay onboard for a minimum of five days.

Hi Linda,
Looking forward to reading your Silversea posts. We've only sailed on Radisson and know nothing much about Silversea. I'd like to learn more.
Denise
Retired and loving it!

Did this thread go wonky or is it my computer? I see Ngaire's avatar, but no post, and Linda's post was edited by Karen.
I see that Silversea has a British Isles segment in 2005, but it's in September. Won't the weather be awfully cold and damp at that time of year?
Yes, yes, I'm hung up on Scotland.

Actually if you want to know what happened I tried to move the post to "cruise talk" of course I failed and it had underneath EDITED by Ngaire.
I asked Karen if she could move the edit comment and now it says EDITED by Karen. I guess when a moderator edits then the edit shows. You can edit your own post though with no edit message.
See it is always a complicated answer.

After I frantically searched for this thread ^^^ up there, and found (and read) it here, that caused a chuckle.
But can I still get an expert opinion on the weather in September, British Isles wise? Thanks.

Pam, Here is a weather website that is my favorite. Plug one of the ports into the fast forecast space and then scroll down to the detailed history. You can go back to previous years and see what the weather was like on that day.
