We just learned that our May 16, 2008 Mariner cruise will be a "Society Summit and Advisory Board" cruise. This sounds like really good news -- having the opportunity to meet and chat with Regent executives -- would love to hear experiences with this type of cruise. If we really are able to give praise in most areas and a suggestion or two in others, it would be great! Thanks in advance for your input.

We are currently on the Voyager and the Venice to Rome and then Rome to Monte Carlo have been "summit cruises". The executives on board are very accessible. There has been a "public" town meeting, and then the Platinum/Titanium members met with Ken, Andre, etc. for about 1.5 hours.

While they do have some specific questions, they also give you lots of time to talk to them whether it is positive or a suggestion.

They are also very visible around the ship so chatting with them is very easy to do. You will enjoy sailing with them.

Um, Travelcat, I would take whatever is said by Regents execs with a very large grain of salt. It was during the last leg of the world cruise that they swore up and down to us that they weren't changing any of the smoking rules and of course they did, big time.

I really don't see why they have these meetings unless of course it's a way for their top execs to get a free cruise vacation and still think they're working.
