I just read over on C C that the P.G. was sold today, but that they would continue to sail thru 2005, then the ship will be renamed and sail in South America, please someone tell me that Radisson will be bringing another ship to Tahiti?? What will we do without the Paul Gaugain, for sure I won't sail Princess and I don't think I would like the staterooms on the, is it (Windsong)?? Hopefully Ngaire you can give us some of the details.

You won't be on Windsong either as they are pulling out of FP

Crummy news, Sandy. And I just read that the Diamond is going to be dropped in 2006.
Maybe they can only make it economically with the larger ships?

I have no more information than anyone else. We will all just have to see what happens. The Diamond lease is up at the end of 2006. Whether or not that could be extended I do not know. I was hoping it would go to FP but Marc mentioned the draft of the ship so maybe not.

I suppose we are very fortunate to be on the PG for PIP! I regretted that we never sailed the SOF, so I would hate to miss the PG, too. (hint hint to A&Masaki, and others not on PIP).

Wow, what a blow! And me thinking that if I had to cancel PIP, at least I could save up for a year or two more and go another time! And cancellation, for us, got closer to a certainty this week.
I certainly hope RSSC puts another ship there. Somewhere for the Gauguines and Siglo to perform!
I am not a happy camper hearing this. :(

Wow! Looks like we sneaked in under the wire with our November '05 booking. Any comments from anybody about possible service deterioration preceding the end of ships sailing?
