R...it's always so sad to see that empty pier.
Of course, they are having the time of their lives - cocktails in the lounges, eating in the Compass Rose or Signatures (if we know Masaki). Guess we'll just have to carry on!
Bon Voyage,

Margo, if you right click on the map below the webcam on the link above, it gives you several options. One is to calculate distance. The still have 248 nautical miles to be before they get there. (how many miles per hour do they go?)
You can also right click on the map and instant message the ship...I found that really unique.

Gee I don't know, Karen, 146/20 (max crusing speed) = 7.3 hours to go. It's 8:00 ish now so unless my math is way off I think it will be dark when they arrive.

I just checked, the sun sets there at 9:01 so there is another hour of daylight. I still don't think they will make it in time. I think the Voyager is departing soon so we will miss them :(

The Voyager and Ngaire are due to be in Copenhagen today. The Norwegian Dream and the Costa Atlantica are both due to be in port with her. Here is the view from the Dream and I think that's the Voyager in front of her?? If so, we can see Ngaire board the ship :)

The P & O Aurora is in port with them today but the web cam isn't communicating a signal, most likely due to the location. There also appears to be a Costa ship with them (the ship with the orange funnel) but I checked the Costa cams and none appear to be there.
I also noticed at the Geiranger cruise ship schedule site that we missed the Diamant (Song of Flower) a few weeks ago. Boo! I would of loved to have seen her in that beautiful setting.

Luke, we are on the same wavelength today! We both posted the cam pic at the same time!
The other ships due to be there with them are The Berlin (Peter Dielmann ship) The Aurora (P and O) The Paloma (not sure what line that is??)
And I still say that last ship is a Costa ship!
Editing to add, the Paloma is a Hansa Kreuzfahrten ship. You know I cut and pasted that name!!

Karen,
I agree with your sightings. I think the orange funnel is the Costa Europa. NorFjor723 will be in Geiranger on July 26, so maybe we'll see one or more of these ships up close.

Luke, the odd thing is that the Geiranger cruise ship schedule doesn't list any Costa ships in port. The Atlantica is due in tomorrow, though. You might be right about the Europa, though. Here is the message displayed on the bottom of the webcam window: We regret to inform you that the displayed data has not been updated due to problems with our satellite connection. That seems to be the norm for the area.

Karen, I have been on this site all morning, hoping for a better view of the ship & passengers. I've been checking this site for the past couple of months and the webcam always pans to the right when a ship is at the dock; however, this ship arrived more than 3 hours ago and the cam is locked in this position. I may have to "hunt" for this camera when we dock there in 3 weeks!
