We're dancing with you, Steve! What a great itineary you have set up. Love the ICB. Don't forget to eat at Le Lotus at the hotel. Most memorable meal of the trip for us - I had to go back and have it again! I think it was sea bass in Vanilla sauce.

Congrats, Steve! Had a great time (can you be envious of someone going to Tahiti when you live in Hawaii? Apparently so!! :D )

I'm going to try to up-load some pictures daily while on the trip (at least when/where we have connectivity) so will be posting the Kodak address some time before we leave.

So, what did I do to mess up my signature? Any advice as to how to fix it?

Thanks

Steve

Steve, I shrunk it a bit so it wasn't so blurry, is the size OK with you?

Whoa. That came out a little (no a LOT) too big. I better work on re-sizing it. I don't want to be THAT obnoxious about Cal!

Thanks Karen.

That's better. Even more would work. It doesn't need to be any taller than the ticker.

Thanks all. We just booked the Celebrity Millennium for Sept. 2007, from Venice to Barcelona, but I have to force myself to think about PG and FP 1st, and not start planning that one yet.

Of course we also have a memorial weekend camping trip to plan, execute and recover from before even thinking about starting to pack.

Steve --

You will enjoy that RCL Millennium trip...we took same cruise in Sept 2005...great weather, calm seas, diminshed crowds, great itinerary. Make sure you check out the spa eating area to avoid buffets and congestion. We've had two fun vacations on Millenium.....

Steve- Have a fabulous time... We need a full review as soon as you get back as we will be leaving on the 1st of July for our honeymoon. Also, let us know the status on the drinks situation. Keep hearing different things on that subject. We would love to hear any input on shore excursions and what to do in Papeete. We are still anxiously waiting on our docs. Ashley

Ashley I will do my best to keep you up to date regarding the PG (daily while on board).

As far as Papeete, we really don't have anything planned, or to re-state, don't plan on doing anything. We arrive late on Thur, and the cruise leaves on Sat., so we really only have a day and a half to try to 'chill' before cruisin. We booked one of the lagoon OWB's, and plan to spend all of our time enjoying the resort/room, and are looking forward to the big dinner show on Sat. night. We also want to hit the market to buy some flowers and Hinano before boarding.

And congratulations on your 'almost marriage'! Our daughter just got married on Apr. 22nd (Disneyland Hotel, Ca.), so we know what you must be going through right now! They went to Disney World (Fl) for their honeymoon. Oh, and yes, Mickey and Minnie did visit the reception.

My goal is to post pictures and/or commentary daily. As a start I have set up the initial photo gallery. The plan is to create a different gallery (so to speak) each day, and I hope to post representative pictures as time allows (but this is a vacation afterall....)

If you have any difficulty accessing this gallery let me know and I will try something else. You should be able to select an option that allows you to view the photos w/out logging in.

The initial photo (link below) is from our Windjammer Mandalay cruise a couple of years ago just before going ashore for dinner on Bequia. The 2nd photo is the view from out cabin. Although we have yet to sail on a Regent ship, I would suggest that Regent and Windjammer are about as opposite as you can get when it comes to cruising...and we love the diversification!

(If you would like to see more Windjammer pictures just let me know. I have a separate gallery for each island on that 14 day cruise as well.)

We are flying to BB for 3 nights post cruise. I see in our docs that we have a travel voucher for going to and from BB, but it doesn't seem to show the time/flight# anywhere. How/when do we find out our flight information? Have we overlooked an itinerary document somewhere?

Getting closer!!!

Thanks,

Steve

OK, so I answered my own question. I called RSSC. They said we won't find out that information until we board and are contacted by the Concierge.

Well Elena, I am actually a Davis grad myself, but our son went to Cal and played in the band. We became Cal fans/supporters because of his involvement and the friends we made while he was there.

We figured we probably won't be able to go back to FP (to many other places to visit and so little time) so we better make the most out of this trip...hence the pre and post stays.

I grew up in SoCal (Hemet) and was an SC fan. Had to change horses (so to speak) when I moved up north.

It is now Sat. night, and we are in the middle of happy hour(s) I don't think we have ever been this organized for a vacation/cruise. :) This then gives us 4 full days to go over all the check lists (thanks to many on this forum for the great feedback over the past YEAR!!!) :lct:

Wow, good for you! I'm not nearly packed, and I leave on Wednesday for my Jun 9th Voyager trip. But I hope to be (mostly) packed by tonight, but will be adding things to the suitcases until just before we leave, I'm sure.

You will have a great time!!!

I posted this on another thread, but since I started this one I figured I would post it here as well. My goal is to create a daily slideshow using PhotoShow. My parents have an old computer and dial-up service and can't open my PhotoShow albums. So I may have to use Kodak as well (I just don't want to have to take the time to resize the pictures and then upload them).

Anyway, here is a link to the first FP/PG album to which I hope to upload pictures on Fri or Sat (we arrive Thur night).

http://www.photoshow.net/watch/Rj3nB7iM

And if you like seeing other people's grandkids you can open these as well (no obligation).

http://www.photoshow.net/watch/gk8QR7VB
http://www.photoshow.net/watch/ta4vK5Qn

Let me know if these can't be opened. There's no use creating something if can't be shared!

Steve, can't wait to see and read all about your trip. I told the kids today it is 2 weeks from today that we leave. We are so excited. Since it sounds unlikely we'll be able to physically cross paths when you get off and we get on, let's for sure plan to meet up for dinner here in town later in the summer and reminicse all about our fab vacations, or however that's spelled!

Sue, sounds good. We also just found out that employees at IF get a nice discount for 'family' dinners as long as they don't abuse it. We just may have to adopt you into the family for a night!

Three more 'get ups'!
