This is my first time on a RSSC cruise in a non-Butler suite and I was wondering about the following, (any assistance would be appreciated very much).

1. Is there an iPod dock or speaker system in the Penthouse C?

2. What is the liquor policy for a Penthouse C? From reading the boards it looks like you may order 2 bottles from your stewardess, although I have also read that if you are a past guest that they will have your preference waiting for you in your suite.

If anyone has the scoops on this, thanks in advance!!

No ipod answer - #2 just tell them what you want in your cabin you will have it shortly - we have standard cabin no problem with 2 bottles

You can get a nice portable iPod docking station/set of speakers for about $100. I use the Altec Lansing inMotion iMC3. I picked it up at Overstock.com. It's great for use in the office or on vacations when you're not sure if your hotel room or onboard suite will have a docking station. The system is very small and comes with a carrying case that can be tucked in one of your luggage pockets. It even has a remote so you can listen to music in bed before falling asleep and then switch it off when you're ready.

We love it!

Mahalo Andrea! Actually great minds must think alike, that's exactly the speakers I have. I just don't want to carry them if it's not necessary, so hence the question. Maybe I'll just give RSSC a call tomorrow to find out if they are in fact in the Penthouse C's.

Joanna, that's me too in the third grade. As a matter of fact my daughter always compares me to Hermoinie (SP?) in the Harry Potter movies.

Just a quick update on the Penthouse C iPod speaker question.

I called Regent and they checked with Operations and they confirmed that the iPod docking stations are ONLY in the Butler suites.

I have to say I think that adds as much value to the Butler suites as the actual Butler.

I kid the Butlers, honestly, the Butlers we have had have all been great.
