A huge THANK YOU to everyone's response about my confusion with the luggage tags. I knew I could count on you. I believe I have another problem though. My documents state which cabin we will be in, Penhouse C on deck 9. but the paper luggage tags are green with Deck 9 F. Does this mean they have us in a category F even though we paid for a C penthouse? Now I am really confused. Do I need to call Radisson or my travel agent who is not really helpful?

If I'm not mistaken the F means the forward part of the ship and helps the persons responsible for your luggage get it to your cabin as quick as possible.

Your docs give a stateroom #. If that is a cat C, just change the F to a C. We've had that happen before and have had no problems getting our luggage to the stateroom. The deck # is the more important thing.

The most important thing is the cabin number...is that listed in your docs? The cabin number will tell you what category you are in...and if you are not sure what category your stateroom is, you can look at the deck plan on the RSSC website. As long as your luggage tags have your cabin number on them, you should be fine.

Yes, 9F means 9 forward, not category F.

9F on a luggage tag does not mean 9 forward; it means deck 9, Cat F! As I said before, your docs give your stateroom #. If you are in a Cat C stateroom( check the deck plan ), just change the F to a C. The deck # helps the crew get the luggage to the proper deck.
