Is anyone thinking of taking the November 22nd PG cruise from Fiji to Papeete? Or has anyone taken this itinerary? We have booked it and look forward to enjoying the PG again.

You lucky guys, we'll be with you in spirit! But we won't feel too bad, since we'll be heading for Rio at the end of November.

We'll be getting off as you get on. We're doing a B2B with the second leg the Tahiti to Fiji iitinerary. We were last on the PG in '05 - did the Marquesas then. Do you dive?

We did the Papeete to Lautoka in 2007. If you wanted to do a few days in Fiji (Vetti Levu)pre-ruise I can really recommend the Starfish Blue up on the north shore. Really loved Fiji!

Yesterday, we were finally able to access our reservation on the Regent web site. While it is still a long way off, it's fun to look at excursion offerings. I asked our TA to check on dive opportunities to insure that they are done by the PG crew as opposed to local operators.

Have you been on PG before?

Hi Ted,
It will be our 5th time on the PG. When we did the Marquesas last year we felt very nostalgic about her and decided to go one more time before she leaves.

I am not really planning to take any tours in the society islands but will likely take a few in the Cook islands and Fiji.
