For those sailing on PiP #1, a poll about a group excursion on Bora Bora. We are looking at four options. 1. Funcats Day 1; 2. Funcats Day 2; 3. Waverunner around Island Day 1; and 4. Waverunner around Island Day 2. Please realize that funcats may not be available.
Please choose two choices.

Shoot!
Some of us (6 possibly, 4 for sure) are VERY interested in funcats, BUT, in the afternoon. I don't think it matters which day...
How do I vote??
Hey funcats are the way to go! They have a little roof and even a cooler! I don't think anyone has to be in the back either!

This may be a dumb question, but are we talking about Bora Bora or Moorea?

No Waverunner for me. Not sure about Funcats either. I just found out that I herniated a disk in my neck/upperback so I have to do the more sedate things on PIP. Snorkel is good, floats, boating/sailing rides.

Well, you could always book a non-Radisson group excursion. That would work. I doubt I'm interested in either, sorry, although I will consult my DH this weekend.

Does anybody actually know what a funcat looks like? Is it like an ATV, or a pedal boat with wheels, or ???

This link will direct you to the RSSC site, which now has a .pdf file that shows all the excursions. There is a picture of the funcat on page 20/of 104. http://www.rssc.com/rss/PDF%20Files/Tahiti%20Shore%20Ex%20Bklt%202005.pdf We will be on the 4 June cruise and would love to do this. I have a concern however with the weight restrictions they list on page 19. With DH's middle edge spread, it doesn’t leave a lot left for me on the weight allowance. Ok, I'll admit to a little middle age spread also (LOL).

I may have to sign up for PIP just so I can go on the funcats and wear that cool Dr. Suess hat that comes with the excursion ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v495/iamtribble/funcat.jpg)

Karen, Karen, Karen - That is not a cool Dr. Suess hat. That is simply the model's hair combining with the bimini top of the FunCat. Either that or something very creepy from the Coneheads on SNL. Cheers, Fred

I hope you all get to do the funcats, or "funny cats" as the sign at the actual excursion calls them. We did them a few weeks ago and had a blast. ALOT more fun than the waverunner excursion we did 2 years ago. You will make a stop at one point to snorkle and we were served fresh coconut and juice while we snorkled. Jacki

Marc - Despite my unfortunate status as a fumbling fool in the ways of the board (I may even have to send an inquiry to Miss Manners about my peculiar conduct), the excursion sounds like great fun, on either day, and irrespective of how loud the little FunCats are. (I will just make a larger donation to the Sierra Club to atone for the loudness of the boats - oh, the cost of hypocrisy!!) Please add us to the list of interested PIPsters. Cheers, Fred
