Does the Voyager & Mariner have standard:
3 prong grounded electrical outlets or
2 prong outlets in the cabins ?

3 prong, but the bathroom only has an outlet for a shaver; no other electrical outlet there.

The only appliances I've brought on both ships (curling iron type thing) were all 2 prong so guess you can use either.

They're 110/120, so there's no problem with either 2 or 3 prong. The third prong is just a ground. However, if your appliance is a 3 prong and the wall plug is only a 2 prong, you need an adapter. Believe that's why the question was asked. We always carry a 2 to 3 prong adapter just in case. You can pick them up at any hardware store for less than a buck.

At the suggestion of somebody posting on LCT I now take a small expansion plug as I have far too many things to charge these days. Camera, Ipod etc. Just a thought.

Everyone, thanks for your replies.

I should have been a little clearer, but

Dougburns hit the Bullseye.

Thanks,
David
