She's contemplating the PG and the Tahitian Princess. I am spoiled and I have shared with her my point of view - there's no choice - THE PG is the only way to go.

She and her husband and their 6 year old with Grandma (That is their gift from Grandma for Christmas.) Anybody have something to share? I will steer her over here. I've already shared Ngaire's info with her.

Kathy, make sure you tell her to do a search here. There is really a lot of info already out there.

Kathy, as you know I'm a real nut about the PG. The TP looks like a lovely ship, and I would certainly try her if there was no PG, but...

Remind her about the free motu day, the fact that there are no formal nights (a big yeah! in FP), that there is no tipping, the excursions are well-priced, so you can do the ship's ones for the most part, the open-seating dining, uh...what did I forget? Oh, all-inclusive now! And the Gauguines and the great Tahitian show the last night!

The last time we were on the PG, there was a woman who is an accountant on board for the first time. She had also tried to decide between the PG and the TP before booking. She did a spreadsheet of the difference in bottom line cost between the PG and the TP after all was said and done. The difference in cost for two people worked out to be under $1000 as I recall. And obviously she chose the PG.

I don't know how the new all-inclusive policy on Regent would impact her calculation.

If Brown & Keene were to sponsor Wendy and I, we are prepared to do further research. Put us on the TP for a week and then another week on the PG, and we will report back. :)
