Betty K got this awesome stalk of the Navigator from the aft cam of Costa Magica in Rio, at least we think it's the Navigator!

This is the first time I have seen this Grand Turk webcam, I wonder if we can get the girls to stand up front for a close up stalk when they get to the island!!

It looks like the Magica is leaving port, I was hoping she would stay a bit longer as now I can't stalk!

We will have to get a message to the girls to tell them about the webcam - any ideas?

That's right Karen, it's us. The Costa ship has left now (thank goodness--they crowded out the whole city). We started out with a rainy day, but it turned sunny in the afternoon. We've had a great day and are getting ready to go out to a Samba show tonight. Tomorrow we'll tour some more and leave Rio at 5:00. We'll try to go to the Webcam in Grand Turk. Where is it?

Peggy, the webcam in Grand Turk is right at the cruise ship center, the first thing you come to when you walk down the pier from the ship.

Karen, from the orientation of the webcam it appears that one would go through the duty free shop and upon exiting turn right. I don't remember what is on the other side of that group of palm trees but based on the location of the ship in the background the large building between the ship and the palm trees is the duty free shop. Gran Turk port is very small so it shouldn't be hard to spot the webcam. You are so clever with these stalks!

We were hoping to see the Navigator arrive in Rio this AM but we had thick fog and heavy rain so no sighting. Thankfully the weather cleared up and we had a beautiful day. One more night in Samba City....

Karen, Thanks for posting the Navigator shot. Yes, the Costa ship is gone only to be replaced by a big MSC ship today. They were waiting for embarkation when we returned from our excursion this afternoon. What a mess!!!

Today the clouds are gone and we are blessed with lovely sun and blue skies. It should be a great sailaway.

Looking forward to the Gran Turk stalk.

Beth, which MSC ship is it? Is it the Armonia or Sinfonia?

Karen, I thought is was the Orchestra with us in Rio, but when searching the MSC website, they claim she is in the Med.

Beth, Robert looked at the MSC website and they had the Sinfonia in Rio. Holler if any ships are in your next port with you!

We'll look for the Sea Princess, Karen. Right now, we aren't sure where we'll be docking in Bridgetown.

We're right across from the Sea Princess--on the other side of the pier. This is really Peggy, not Joanna--I'll log her out.

We were on a different part of the pier from the Sea Princess in Dominica, so would not have been visible there either. However, Beth and I went on a "fun cat" (2-person catamaran) excursion near the Sea Princess, so waved in case someone was stalking.

Checking in from somewhere not far from Donimica where we were earlier today. I've been MIA lately because the computers are slow and not a whole lot to report. Joanna & Tony and me took the shuttle bus into town today but since it was Sunday, everything was closed except craft and handmade stands near the port. If you don't do an excursion or have a guide here, there really isn't much to see. Last time we were here (on DDD) we did the inner tube river trip which is GREAT fun. We came back and lounged around the pool. It is HOT so the pool was so refreshing.

Today is Suzanne's wedding day so called to wish her a wonderful wedding. She was so happy to have good wishes from so far away and sounded fantastic. I know she'll be a beautiful bride; Mark is a lucky man.

Tomorrow we're in San Juan for the entire day, Hope the beautiful weather continues. More later from the Navigator!!

The Carnival Slendor is on it's way to San Juan, maybe we can catch a glimpse of the Navigator as she pulls in.

About noon today the Independence of the Seas pulled in next to us in San Juan. This is the largest ship we've encountered on DC so far. It does change the demographics of Old Town.

Karen, With the IOS next to us, we can't see a thing. Sorry......

I'm planning on meeting the ship in Fort Lauderdale - to meet Frank and Wendy for the day and dinner. They became friends when we were on the Navigator several years ago cruising to Tahiti and back.

Perhaps I'll see some of you on the pier in FLL when I pick them up.

I'm excited to see them again.

As we left San Juan last night, we had two Royal Caribbean and two Carnival ships docked beside us.

Karen, Crystal and I walked all around the cruise center looking for the webcam after our snorkeling excursion late yesterday afternoon, but had no luck. It was dark by the time we were there. Wished we could have set up a time to be there.... where ever it was!!
