confused An embarking the Voyager in Fort Lauderdale on Dec 19. My cruise documents state embarkation begins at 3:00PM. Ship sails at 6:00PM. What time should I arrive at the Pier and do they usually let people board early? My checkout time at the hotel is Noon. ???

We went directly from the airport last year, and were able to get on quite early; we were handed a note welcoming us, and telling us that we should go have lunch on the pool deck. When our suites were ready, they announced it on the PA system.

Paul, our flight arrives at Ft. Lauderdale at 11 am. I fully expect to collect luggage and be met by Radisson by noon. I understand the docks are about 10 minutes from the airport and I don't believe they will be stalling me for 3 hours. I suspect that by noon or 1 pm you should be able to board with us.

Paul, check out of your hotel at noon and go straight to the ship. You shouldn't have any problem boarding. They'll take any carry on if you don't want to lug it around, go eat lunch on the pool deck and your cabin should be ready around 2 or shortly after.

Don't forget to make reservations at Signatures and the Spa when those desk open since they're so popular.

Paul - pretty sure RSSC lets you board anytime after noon. Am very envious of you. Please write!

They even have a set up for lunch. Very rarely do you get access to your cabin before 3, but the ship is prepared to host you around noon.

The latest I've ever boarded an RSSC ship is probably 1pm or so. I've boarded as early as 11:30am. Paul, you should have no problem boarding at a time convenient for you. RSSC is really great when it comes to embarkation - it's such a smooth, personalized process.
