THEY CAME OUT TODAY I JUST GOT PRICING AND ITINERARIES AND IT IS OPEN FOR BOOKING. HAVE NOT EVEN HAD TIME TO STUDY IT AS TO PRICING VERSUS LAST YEAR ETC. GOING TO BE A BUSY DAY. I AM STILL AT HOME AND I AM RUSHING OFF TO THE OFFICE AND WILL TRY TO POST WHAT I CAN ON A PRELIMINARY BASIS ON MY WEB. IT WONT BE THE NORMAL RATE TABLES JUST THE BASIC INFORMATION IT WILL TAKE AT LEAST A WEEK OF FULL TIME WORK TO GET ALL THE RATE TABLES DONE.

THIS WILL NOT BE ON THE RSSC WEB UNTIL LATE NEXT WEEK PROBABLY. I KNOW THIS IS NOT COPYING OVER CLEARLY BUT I DONT WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO MAKE THIS BETTER. JUST TRY TO FIGURE IT OUT THE AIR SPECIAL IS MESSED UP WITH THE RATES. ALSO THE TWO RATES - THE HIGHER ONE PER CATEGORY IS THE BROCHURE RATE AND THE SECOND RATE IS THE EARLY BOOKING RATE. YOU CAN SEE THE CATEGORY AND THE FARE RIGHT AFTER IT. KEEP AN EYE ON MY WEB I WILL TRY TO HAVE THINGS UP BY EARLY THIS AFTERNOON

NOTE NOTE NOTE: STARTING IN 2007 ALL CRUISES ARE ALL INCLUSIVE OF LIQUOR (EXCLUDING PREMIUM BRANDS OF COURSE)

Some of you had asked me to book you when these opened and I have already done that in the categories you wished.

Ngaire, thanks for the info. That is good news about them going all inclusive. Now I am anxious to see what they are offering for 2007.

The condition known as "Itinerary Fever" will soon hit epidemic proportions.

The Norway itinerary renews wonderful memories from NorFjor723 with the added bonus of travels north of the Arctic Circle.

I would appreciate comments about the British Isles cruise, e.g., port selection and timing vis-a-vis other British Isles itineraries you have reviewed or traveled. Thanks in advance.

Well, I happily bounded downstairs this morning, with discussion over breakfast of what 2007 holds in store for our travels.

We won't be able to cruise on the British Isles or the Dag's homecoming - those dates won't work for our vacations. But, maybe a crossing on Voyager in fall 2007 will work for us.

Not sure if it's true Apples to Apples, but it looks like the 2007 British Isles cruise is about $500/person higher in CAT H for 2007.

I guess that's not too bad considering inflation, rising fuel costs, and the added all inclusive.

Methinks the British Isles are to be on our calendar for 2007. I like the dates & itinerary. Will look at pricing later when it is posted.

Do you know if the All-Inclusive for 2007 will apply to cruises starting in 2006 but ending in 2007 (NewYear's on Voyager)?

Okay it is up. Look under 2007 Chose by Ship. This takes FOREVER to load just be patient and then print it out. No other way to do it right now we are working on a quicker way and it may be well over a week before we have all the rate tables up but at least you can see it now.

Gil, have no idea about the liquor situation on the New Years cruise. That decision has probably not even been made yet.

Wow, British Isles cruise falls right smack on my day of my 40th...I was thinking of PG/Tahiti but this would certainly lure me!!

All inclusive!! If this is true, kudos to Radisson for listening!!

I'm sorry Ngaire, when I do that it and I click on Voyager it gives me the dates only through April 2007. Am I doing this wrong?

Great news about all inclusive!

Maria, it worked for me. I clicked on the 2007 cruises by ship on the first screen of the B&K website and then picked Voyager. Did you do it differently? By the way--are you thinking of doing the British Isles cruise??? Hope so, because we're thinking about it too, but want to see which Meditteranean cruise Ngaire does as a group cruse before we decide.

If you're going to print any of the schedules, you might need to print them in landscape format to get all of the pertinent information on each page.

Ngaire, I assume that the "all-inclusive" also applies to the 2007 South America, even though that itinerary and pricing were released earlier?

Question for Ngaire or anybody else that can help me read the tables...

Does the early booking savings fare column on the 6/23 Voyager Norway already reflects the 5% society savings and the $1000 credit ( I'm assuming/ hoping it doesn't)???

Thanks,

There goes Karen, making it even easier! What a gem you are, Karen.

Luke, you asked for comments on the British Isles itinerary -- which, I might add, we JUST BOOKED! Yea! Our first RSSC cruise was on the Song of Flower around the British Isles in 2001, so some ports will be repeats for us, and I'll comment about those. (Forgive me if I mis-remember anything. I'm talking off the top of my head here, without pulling out information from our prior trip, so I'd better make that disclaimer up front.)

Two full days in Edinburgh should allow good time to see that fascinating city; one port day wouldn't really do it justice because you would be rushing around so fast, from the castle along the Miracle Mile and through the old city to a tea shop for Scottish scones, etc. In two days a person could get a much better feel for Edinburgh, and being a bit of an Anglophile I find that very appealing. Or, if one was inclined, there could be a day in the city and a day in the surrounding countryside. So two days provides good options. We have been to Edinburgh twice, and I love the city. I'm excited at getting another shot at it.

I believe -- but I need to get a map out to be certain -- that Invergordon is the port in the Inner Hebrides Islands where we stopped. If so, it was very interesting -- a stone "sun circle" along the lines of Stonehenge, a charming town and small cathedral, and Skapa Flo (sp?), which was an important WWII site. But I won't go on about this until I'm sure that I've got my facts right.

The Isle of Skye was memorable. Loads of history and charm on this little island. I have a pebble from there given to me by a Scotsman to keep in my luggage. It is supposed to ensure that your ship won't sink as long as you carry it. :)

I was happy to see a long day, until 11:00 p.m., in Dublin. On our previous trip we got a city bus tour and a trip to the museum to see the Book of Kells, but that was about it. A longer day to tour will be very welcome there.

The other ports will be new for us, and I like the sound of them. Lots of variety, it seems to me.

Come with us!

Priscilla,

Thanks for the information and the invitation. I KNOW that this would be a special trip that we would enjoy. My first mission, however, is to pass along the information to my parents who have longed for this itinerary.

I'm in the process of digesting all this. I'm a little disappointed that there is not an itinerary on Med in the summer out of Venice going west, ending in Rome or MC.

Also, I was hoping that some of the pricing in Navigator (especially for cabins w/o balcony) would be lower. I don't know if I'm doing this right but the per diems of say the Voyager 6/23 Norway cruise lowest category(H) is slightly lower than the per diem on Navigator Med summer cruises lowest category (H)(w/o balcony!). If I factor in the $1000 off then the per diems of Voyager H cabin and Navigator H cabin (no balcony) are about the same.

Ngaire, how soon will you know which ones are your escorted cruises?

The fares shown as EARLY BOOKING FARES do NOT reflect the $1000 off where applicable, society, onboard any discounts at all. That is the "starting" price once the early booking % has been taken off.

Those still showing the World Cruise or South American hit "refresh" that is what was on there before and your computer may be pulling up a copy already stored. Julie is working on listing it a different way that will pull over faster but it takes a while to do that so it may or may not get done today. It will show the whole schedule we have and then link to JUST that part of the long big list that applies.

I am doing the British Isles, Sept 1, and Dag's Norway cruise, June 23, Antarctica in January and the Polar Bears first week in November. Probably will do just one South African trip I need to fit in somewhere also.

If there are a group of LCT'ers that decide on a cruise at any other time than those dates I will be happy to make it one of my escorted cruises. I love to travel with LCT'ers. You may all have different ideas so I will pick the trip that has the most people and fits with my schedule. Now you all have dates and pricing you can look it over and make decisions. The board will be a busy place for a few days.

I had no original intentions for MUSH or MINT for that matter it was what you all wanted that made those trips happen.

Unfortunately the Norway cruise is out of my price range, but I'm seeing lots of other cruises that could work. Maybe 2007 will be the year that I finally get to cruise with LCT'ers!

Have not had time to look Olivia but the single supplement is not standard now. Each cruise has different single supplements. I know the crossing are very low at about 10%. One of these days I need to do a crossing that is something maybe we should look at as a group LCT cruise. Affordable and it is about the people anyway not the ports. Funchal is a place I have not been!!

I love the idea of doing an LCT crossing!! I've always been interested in doing one but still was afraid I might get bored with many sea days in a row. But I know I sure wouldn't be bored with a bunch of LCTers!

Problem is Kathy that is the POLAR BEAR date first week in November, that is not flexible we need to go at peak time. If I do a crossing I guess it is going to have to be April.

For some reason I thought the Polar Bears were in 2006. So hard to believe we are booking things now 21 months away!

Wow - just saw this - can't wait to start shopping! We'd love to go back to Norway - I'll have to see if I can rearrange to fit it in schedule-wise. And all inclusive is the icing on the cake!

Going to N.Z.in November 2006. Yes but we are getting the best price and the pick of cabins doing things early.

I think our name is on the list for polar bears. So, we're looking at the April crossing on the Navigator. Eastbound. 8 nights. Sea days only. Being on the ship, is well, being on the ship. :) Doing a Jan/Feb-timeframe ski trip. So, all that pretty much takes care of our vacation time for 2007.

Just booked the Capt. Dag and Norway cruise, sounded like a lot of others did too. We have never been to this part of the world, I think we have a great cruise to look forward to next year. Guess we are going to need a name for this cruise.
