I should let you all know that Linda and I are going to Egypt next week. Julie will be back on Saturday.
I really wanted to see Egypt on the Voyager but since I could not get on the ship Linda and the "photographers" are off to check it out by land. We are doing a 3 day Nile cruise, going to Abu Simbel and the the Giza pyramids and spending some time in Cairo.
It will be a speedy 7 day trip and I will be back on Monday April 25.

Interesting. Is this a land trip for you? I don't quite understand. What cruise are you doing, or is it just a fam tour sort of thing to check them out. Ngaire you seem always to be expanding the horizons for all of us!

Ker & Downey wanted me to go to Egypt. They want me to sell it and I wont sell anything I dont know. So they put this together for us and it is a FAM type thing. We are going to be going like crazy. We did not even know the details until today when we got our schedule.
I actually thought I had more time between the two trips and wish there had been one more week but it is fine. I am all caught up and Julie is back tomorrow.
I will see what I think, we are sailing on the Nile on the Salcia and the other ship is the Triton. The Triton is newer with larger cabins we will be touring that but there was no room on the ship for us with such a late decision to go. These are the two best ships on the Nile, the only privately owned ones as I understand it. Everything in Egypt appears to be rated 5 star which does not actually mean much but these are supposed to be the best.
We are also staying at the Four Seasons Residence which is the nicest hotel as I understand it. We will see other hotels as well.
Energy - dont know but I always recover fast. I must admit that I love to be busy and really am able to go at a fast pace. Ken can too although he does fade a little quicker than me at times.

Ngaire, have a great trip. Your energy is amazing. You are going to be in one of those pictures in the paper some day...you know...101 year-old-lady still travels the world. There you'll be in your safari get-up making the rest of us look like "panty-waists"!

Ngaire, have a great time and tell Ken and Ron to stay awake and take lots of pics! My SIL going on MUSH followed Ken and Ron and got the same camera they have. It is SO heavy with the lens she bought (not even that long thing they had in the Galapagos)! No wonder I am looking for a pocket variety! You guys are like trailblazers looking for new places for us to visit in exotic parts of the world.

Marcie - your camel sure looks a lot like your cat. I guess even a technically proficient gal can loose an image in cyberspace once in a while.
Editing to say that is a funny camel photo. I knew when it was not on the screen yesterday and I wrote my post that you'd probably edit and get the photo to appear and then my post would not make any sense.
Ngaire - as others have said, I wish I had your energy. Have another great trip.
