Tomorrow I'll have been back from my trip for 2 weeks, and I'm just now beginning to come down from it. I've posted a ludicrously-detailed trip report in 5 parts on the Reviews board. Great for if you're having trouble sleeping. I've posted photos at http://www.kodakgallery.com/Slidesh...15slw9bf.b685wzf&Uy=-ue3mi2&Ux=1 (I think you have to sign up for a free account to view), if you want to see how many different views of the terra cotta warriors one person can take.

Fortunately, my next travel fix is just a couple weeks away--I have a business trip to London in early November. Then, my mother and I are doing the mini-cruise on Voyager in December. So, I still have stuff to be psyched for.

Great pictures Crystal, brought back some memories. I had dinner in Jumbo back in 1994 while we were living in Hong Kong. My son now lives and owns a software development company in Shanghai. I haven't been there yet but he loves Shanghai. Thanks for sharing.

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole review and pictures, Crystal; thanks so much for taking the time! Hong Kong certainly has changed since 1970!

Thanks for sharing your cruise with us. We have found that the best cure from a let down of a cruise ending is to plan the next one. We try always to have at least one or two in the pipeline so we can always be excited about the next adventures!

Great photos, loved them all, especially "ceiling of sampan". Sad to view our Diamond tethered to her new post and not sailing (with us) as she was designed to do.

Crystal, You do take the prize for number of photos of the terra cotta warriors. On our first trip to Europe in 70, my brother went hog wild and took 9 of the Pieta (pre-attack)in St. Peter's. We thought that was outrageous. Loved your photos and your reviews. Enjoy your upcoming trips..... lucky you.

It was a sad photo of the Diamond. Is she up and running as a casino yet or still in the refurbishing stage?

Crystal, thanks for posting these facinating pictures....I have ADD when viewing most vacation photo's but yours were interesting. My sister was in China at the Great Wall 4 years ago so will forward them to her.

Crystal - awwww, no pictures of your trip to Tsukiji? I was looking forward to seeing what you had taken. :) Loved the photos though.

Masaki, my Tsukiji pictures weren't very good, so I didn't post them. I was just learning my digital camera, and wound up with a bunch of pictures with no focal point.

Beth, Barry said that the former Diamond is indeed functioning as a casino. There's a new name on her side--Asia Star, or something like that. But, if an inanimate object can look sad, this one did. Kind of like she had lost her purpose in life.

Anne, I head to London on Nov. 8.
