Sorry so late in posting. Somehow we have been busy from breakfast to bedtime. We know everyone on this cruise. Usually we have people we have not met before so it is definitely fun knowing every single person in the group. First port Sundsvall a new port for us. Lovely town and we were on a tour. Did a lot of walking in the town, the buildings were really unique. Then we visited a beaurtiful church. ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/WpNzWkpb/IMG-9334.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/38Dh7j9x/IMG-9342.jpg) Lovely square with lots of flowers. ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/jRprsg3n/IMG-9343.jpg) Second Port Umea This day we decided to do the shuttle bus. Probably should have done a tour but we failed to book this stop in advance and the tours were all full. Third Port Kemi. Interesting area, Sweden and Finland is divided by a river. This was a good tour. A huge aluminum fish on the side of the river. We visited a lot of churches and cementaries around the churches. Learned a lot about Russia invading Finland and how many young men died in that invasion. Churches were beautiful and the cememtaries well kept and so sad to see so many VERY young men who died during this time. We ended the tour stopping at a local mall that was full of people. A huge area outside with a food court and as far as you can see lots of people. ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/mBDjk8MV/IMG-9380.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/9Vq8YxzM/IMG-9386.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/L2TvbbP3/IMG-9390.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/4f8kVfML/IMG-9435.jpg) Today is a day at sea. Callng it KLT day as this is the only day at sea until the end of the cruise when there wil be one more day. So we are having our luncheon and then tonight the cockatil party

If you are having trouble getting into KLT try entering via the KLT website. Not sure why that works but it does. We will work on this issue when we get home. Spread the word so others will know.
Going back to posting now.

The GM helping with the drawing the names for the free cruise. Eight more names entered from this sailing. This GM is Vladimir is really a great GM. We love sailing with him. ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/2mwFdq08/IMG-9441.jpg) Next pictures from TURKU, FINLAND. We visited the outside of the castle and then drove to a winery where we some soup and tasted the wines. All made without any grapes, berries and apples. ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/by8pQYTk/IMG-9461.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/19HP9hGH/IMG-9480.jpg) The drive up to the winery. The building was simple but the grounds were nice. Not a single grape in sight. Next day we took a train. The most interesting thing we learned on this tour was that the Vikings stored their treasures in the ground. Even today items are dug up but if they find things they find must be turned over to the authorities. There was one area that is shown below where many treasures were found in this area where the rocks outline a Viking boat. ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/wgRcm9bw/IMG-9507.jpg)

In Copenhagen today. This is where we spent a lot of nights as we got covid. Really no symtoms but the law in Copenhagen was you could go out if you wore a mask. We went all over Copenhagen while we there. Really prefer to take a day off and not go ashore. We are here for two days. The Navigator is docked right next to us! ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/nnvYs1cd/IMG-9600.jpg)

Today we are in Lysekil, Sweden. Little overcast today but water is still calm. Just a light wind. We decided to do the shuttle into town. The shuttle bus was full people had to wait for the next departure. There were two stops. The first stop was all about the waterfront and a long pathway up to the top of a hill. We decided to stay on and get to the town. First place we went was to a huge church. We walked up the hill and arrived at the church. It was a very unique church with a play area for children and a boat filled with children’s toys. You could tell it was an old but beautifully preserved church. Then we went into the town. Great houses with wonderful exteriors. Large and small grocery stores. There was a big park all roped off for a series of races for children of all ages. The parents could run with them if they wished. So much fun seeing these very young kids running as fast as he could. ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/F9gfW8tc/IMG-9683.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/JrLFmydv/IMG-9677.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/wqNs5Mqq/IMG-9678.jpg) Never seen a set of drums next to an organ! ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/NQwYL0V8/IMG-9680.jpg) Never seen children’s toys in a church. NEXT PICTURES FROM THE CITY. Beautiful buildings on this street and lots of stores. Ken was enthralled with racing children and did not take a picture!!! ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/gYzxXs5K/IMG-9686.jpg) Picture from the park where the children were running. ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/Mq3Pr30n/IMG-9687.jpg)

Last day of the cruise—a seaday and only day of really bad weather—cold, windy, and rainy outside.
It has been great seeing everyone, and we have visited some very different and unique ports.

Been a fun cruise. Not ready to disembark but to bad for us. Even looked at making this a back-to-back but decided not to do it. Darn it anyway.
