Hi LCTers,

I apologize if the Africa safari people already know about this organization. It is run by a couple I know who are passionate about saving African wildlife by supporting anti-poaching. All funds they raise go directly to increase the anti-poaching forces. If you are on FaceBook they are at https://www.facebook.com/OperationPachamama/. If you are not try a Google search.

As they have posted recently, poachers have not taken a break due to Covid-19, but many rangers are not getting paid or they cannot find jobs because of the lack of tourism.

Keeping warm in Arizona,

Paul

I suspect that most of us who have been to Africa feel compelled to support these great organizations. I am a long time supporter of the Sheldrick Trust in Kenya. I recommend the book Love, Life and Elephants about Dame Daphne Sheldrick for those who are missing their African trek this year

Always good to find another organization that is reputable and fighting the good fight, I will check it out! Thanks Paul
