sor those who have used Regent Air flying out of Buenos Aires which would include a transfer from ship to airport.......what do they do with you all day? The flights leave mid to late evening, but obviously we have to leave the ship by 9:00. I can't imagine they would just take us to the airport at that point, we would not even be able to check in that early. Do they take us to a hotel? Would appreciate any input from those with some experience with this particular situation.
Thanks.

JoAnn -- In the past, they've taken passengers to the Sheraton Buenos Aires to hang out. Not sure if they're still doing that.

Joann - this is one of those bad situations. It changes from year to year
Could be a hotel to hang out as Peggy said Could be tour (extra charge) to fill in some of the day
Whatever the situation it is a long day to fill in when the flight leaves so darn late. I remember our group sitting in the airline lounge playing cards for hours to fill in the hours. Many people try to get a day room because of the very late flights but not much around the airport.
What we always do is request to fly out the night before as all flights leave so late. You eat an early dinner and go to the airport. That is what we are doing but we did our own air.

Thanks Peggy and Ngaire. Sounds like an awful day for sure. We have already confirmed our air, so flying out the night before would entail changing the air and paying an additional fee. Guess we will just have to see how it plays out.
